After my team "The Supremacists" and I had an in class assignment to role play in a court case called The Mock Trial, we then had to observe the other teams' given assignments. Two teams of the classroom known as "The Dirty Minds" and "The Feminazies" The Dirty Minds team had to convey events that displayed an pro-slavery message, while The Feminazies had to convey events that displayed an anti-slavery message.
Both teams showcased that they had done their research well, and their events reflected off well off of their message of slavery as a whole. The Dirty Minds, who were pro-slavery, stated events such as the Missouri Compromise, the "Gag Rule", and the Fugitive Slave Act. The Feminazies, who were anti-slavery stated events such as the Act for the Gradual Abolition of Slavery, the Act Prohibiting Importation of Slaves, and the year the American Anti-Slavery Society was founded (1833).
